BILLY'S BIG IMPRESSION
Swindon Town youth team striker Billy Bodin scored the winning goal for Wales Under-17 against Norway last night.
Defender Jack Winter started the game with Billy Bodin coming off the bench. Kayleden Brown opened the scoring on the stoke of half-time before Billy Bodin headed in the winner twenty minutes before time.
Earlier in the week the Under-17's went down to a 2-1 defeat to Turkey in what was the opening game of the Four Nations Friendly Tournament in Sweden.
Town Under 18's manager Paul Bodin has delighted with the involvement of his players so far.
"Jack hadn't been involved with the Welsh squad until this summer so it is great that he has been getting some match time, especially with Brian Flynn in charge of the Wales Under 17, 19 and 21 sides.
"Jack has played two forty-five minutes in the opening two games and hopefully he will get another go against Sweden at the weekend," said Bodin.
"Billy got on and scored with winner which is great news for him, but I am sure they will both keep working hard as the games continue."
