F/T: TOWN 1 YEOVIL 1
Swindon Town have taken a point from the home reserve clash against Yeovil Town.
Andy Nicholas captained the side which also included the experience of Phil Smith, Michael Pook and Sofiene Zaaboub.
Trialist Danny Bocade started the game in central midfield after spending time with French club Metz. Midfielder Kieran Forbes was included on the bench, as he begins a trial spell from Championship outfit Watford, having previously been on trial at Southampton.
Town made a solid enough start to the game in tricky conditions, after a pre-match deluge had soaked The County Ground playing surface.
Yeovil went close through Wilf Domeraud before Swindon took the lead in style. A deep cross into the box from Zaaboub - aiming to impress the watching scouts - was met by Billy Paynter who composed himself before volleying home from 10 yards.
The visitors hit back before the break with Jay May taking advantage of room inside the box as he pounced from close range to stab home past Phil Smith.
Both sides had chances to take the advantage after the half-time break, with a number of substitutes also used in the second period. Sean Morrison went close with a 70th minute header which was gathered by visiting keeper Jamie Jones.
Billy Paynter saw his ambitious 40 yard effort saved from under the bar by Jones before Phil Smith saved from the feet of Wilf Domeraud.

Sofiene Zaaboub blasted over minutes later from close range, and the Frenchman left the field before the game was up with a leg injury and was carried off the field by members of the Swindon medical staff.
Nathan Thompson, Kieran Forbes and Callum Kennedy were all used as second half substitutes, with ten man Swindon holding out for a point.
