Swindon Town's reserves went down to a 2-1 defeat at Swansea City on Wednesday night.

An experienced side took the field at the Remax Stadium at Port Talbot with the likes of Anthony McNamee, Jack Smith and Moses Ashikodi all starting the game.

Also named in the starting line-up were Youth Team goalkeeper Mark Scott, defender Chris Blackburn and striker Blair Sturrock.

Reserve boss Ady Williams was less than impressed with the display put on by the second string.

"It was far from the performance we were after," said the former Welsh International.

"We made changes at the break and things did improve but some of the more senior players will have to look at themselves after a display like that."

Moses Ashikodi netted for The Robins, equalising after the home side had notched themselves ahead but Swindon were unable to return with a share of the spoils.
