TOWN DEFEATED BY CITY
Swindon Town's reserves went down 3-2 to Bristol City on Tuesday afternoon.
In a competitive game at the training ground, Swindon came back from behind twice but were eventually outdone by a double strike from Lee Trundle.
Swindon were soon under pressure from the visitors with Phil Smith forced into a good stop at his near post.
Sofiene Zaaboub, impressive on the left, created an opportunity for Jake Hyde with 13 minutes played but the youngsters header found the arms of Chris Weale in the City goal.
The opening goal came on 20 minutes. After Noble had turned Ady Williams on the edge of the box, his cross found Lee Trundle eight yards out who fired with aplomb past Smith.

Just four minutes later, Swindon were level. A precise ball through found Jake Hyde in a one on one with returning City skipper Louis Carey, with Hyde finding the back of the net with a low shot from the edge of the box.
Michael Pook saw his left foot effort narrowly fly wide on 26 minutes before more pressure from the visitors saw Town concede shortly before the break.
A cross from Scott Murray from the right was turned into his own net by Jack Smith at the far post with 41 minutes on the clock.

After the break Simon Cox almost drew his side level, but was unable to get a touch on a fine cross from Hyde with 52 minutes played.
Jack Winter was replaced by Sam Morris on the hour for Swindon, before Simon Cox was withdrawn with Kurt Hammonds taking his place in the front line.
Adam Everiss then entered the fray on 74 minutes and he was to mark his appearance with a goal. After a corner had been flicked on inside the City box, Everiss was on hand to tap the ball into the empty net to make it 2-2.

Swindon looked to be heading for a point but were denied a share of the spoils with Trundle notching his second of the game. The former Swansea City front man made the most of a one on one with Phil Smith, firing low into the left hand corner with just three minutes remaining.
