Swindon Town's players have arrived at their Austria base ahead of a three-game tour.

There are games against Steaua Bucharest, Fenerbahce and FC Zlin to come for Maurice Malpas's squad included in what is expected to be a tough week for the players as preparations continue ahead of the 2008/09 campaign.

The squad gathered at The County Ground shortly before 9am on Wednesday morning before a swift journey to Terminal 5 before boarding a 1.55pm British Airways flight to Munich.

Trialist Kwasi Oduro joined the squad at Munich airport before the squad set off on the two and a half hour coach journey to the team hotel.

Having arrived at the hotel, Maurice Malpas held a team meeting following dinner before the players retired for some much-needed rest before the hard work starts in earnest on Thursday morning.

Maurice Malpas is expected to utilise the majority of his squad against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday evening, with trialist Kwasi Oduro also set to feature.
