Swindon Town supporters can now renew their season tickets for the 2008/09 season at the STFC Box Office.

Providing that 6,000 season ticket holders sign up by 1st August 2008, then an adult season ticket will cost just £229.

The club would like to remind fans that the following benefits also apply:

1. The 2008-2009 season is of course the 40th Anniversary of the Club's famous League Cup victory against Arsenal. As an added bonus, if the target of 6000 is reached, all Season Ticket holders who sign up before August 1st will receive an exclusive, 1969 season replica shirt. This shirt will not be available to purchase.

2. Bring a friend for a fiver: All non-concessionary Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to bring a friend to selected games for just £5. There will be one discounted £5 ticket per eligible season ticket holder available. Season Ticket holders may arrange seat relocation for the game they have chosen via the Ticket Office to enable them and their friend to sit together. 3. TrustSTFC, the Swindon Town Supporters' Trust, are delighted with the announcement of season ticket prices for the 2008-09 season, with large price reductions, a possible further reduction if targets are met and a welcome split payment to spread the cost for loyal fans.

Trust Chairman Paul Davis welcomed the news warmly:

"We're delighted with this package - it brings the cost of watching football at Swindon regularly back within the range of the ordinary fan."

Spokesman Andy Ratcliffe, added "We would urge all supporters to take up this excellent offer, and encourage as many others as they can to do likewise.

"The 6,000 season ticket target is certainly ambitious, but recent experience at other clubs has shown it can be achieved. The club deserves to reach that target for the initiative they have shown."
